The security of any email account that you create under a website hosting account with us is ensured by the powerful SpamAssassin email filter that we employ. You can enable it through the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and it offers five protection levels based on the spam score it gives to each message depending on different criteria, such as the recurrence of specific words, the sender, etc. If you keep getting spam emails, you can always raise the level or if you’re scared that you may miss a legitimate message, you can combine the automatic filter with a custom one and forward all email messages from a specific sender to a separate email account. If you reach the decision that you no longer require a spam filter for a specific mailbox, you can disable it with only a couple of mouse clicks.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you get a semi-dedicated server package from our company and if you create one or more email addresses with any of the domain names hosted under the account, you’ll be able to enable the advanced, 5-level SpamAssassin spam filter that we provide and keep all unwanted email messages away from your inbox. This feature is accessible through the Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel and it can be enabled or disabled for any email account whenever you wish. You can also tweak the level of security with a few clicks in case junk emails still appear in your inbox or the spam filter begins deleting genuine email messages. Since you can select whether the spam should be deleted momentarily or redirected to another email address, you can create spam@domain.com, for example, and view all filtered messages there, so as to make sure that you won’t miss an email that you need. The emails that the anti-spam filter allows to go through will still be delivered to your inbox.
