If you get a cloud website hosting plan from us and if you use our email services, you’ll be able to enable anti-spam protection for any of the email accounts that you set up from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. In case you start receiving spam, you can start with the lowest one and then slowly increase the level till you stop getting spam. We rely on one of the best and most popular email filters out there called SpamAssassin. It ‘scans’ the header field and the body of every email that you get and determines a spam score, based on which it either erases a specific message or allows it to reach your inbox. The Hepsia Control Panel will also allow you to activate custom spam filters and either delete undesired messages or re-send them to a 3rd-party address such as spam@domain.com where you can read them again after that.

If you use one of our semi-dedicated hosting plans, you won’t need to worry about unsolicited bulk email messages stuffing your mailboxes all the time, as you can make use of the popular SpamAssassin anti-spam filter that we offer with every semi-dedicated hosting account. Our custom-built Hepsia hosting Control Panel will permit you to activate the filter for any mailbox with several clicks of the mouse and you can select any of the 5 security levels – from very high to very low. The level can be altered at any moment if, for example, legitimate messages get blocked, or if unsolicited bulk email messages go through and appear in your Inbox folder. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered email messages to be re-sent to a special mailbox such as spam@your-domain.com and not to be deleted. Thus, you can check them from time to time to ensure that you haven’t missed out on a genuine email.
